3D system is a unique system of robust and universal switchboards. The individual components of these cabinets allow multiple cabinets to be grouped together at two depths. The complete assortment of cabinets is available with compact sizes and uniform design.
The cabinets are designed as modular systems comprised of individual components with the following dimensions: height - 300, 500, 600, 700 and 900 mm, width - 290, 390 and 550 mm and depth - 240 and 350 mm. The individual components are made of SMC plastics and are compliant with V0 and HB40 combustibility resistance class with improved resistance to climatic effects and excellent attributes for electrical engineering.

The external surface of the cabinet doors features fine ribbing to make pasting of posters difficult, without impairing the aesthetic appearance of the cabinet. The material and the design of the cabinet doors eliminate waviness or deformation. The doors are resistant against mechanical impacts or destruction. The doors open at a 200° angle. The doors can be locked using a single or 3-point latching system.
Open cabinet doors can be easily dismantled using any tool, by simply depressing the safety spring and pushing out the pin. The cabinet doors facilitate ventilation of the cabinet without affecting the IP 44 protection
. By sealing the ventilation openings using foam (silicone) seal, the protection class can be upgraded to IP 54. The complete design allows for the installation of doors on both sides of the cabinet and placement of appliances in the central part of the cabinet.
The sides of the cabinet are finely ribbed from the outside for the same reason as the doors. Moreover this ribbing makes any attempt to rip out the cabinet from the walling practically impossible. Thanks to the design of the cabinet sides it is possible to group the cabinets in columns and rows of practically any length.
The cabinet roof is sloped to one side in order to allow the user to choose which side the water will be drained to. The cabinets can therefore be mounted on walls or pillars can be installed in close proximity to the walls without exposing the facade to water.
